Job well done!

Rattlers players played an exhibition game on Thursday night July first in Riverside at the University of Riverside against the SUSA- Everton under 23 team. The Rattlers went there with only 12 players 10 field players and 2 keepers. The Bench players got another opportunity to shine. A 1 to 0 win is what they helped produce. It was a back and fourth game with most of the ball in the Rattlers zone the majority of the time.
Then in the 85th minute of play Tony Hernandez passed the ball in too the Everton box and to the head of Jesus Lopez, who re-directed it to the feet of Forward Mauricio Harrie. Mauricio had gone down but managed a scissors type kick from the ground that found it's way to the far post and the back of the net. The Rattlers defense did an excellent job protecting the one goal lead for the next 15 minutes and got the victory. They have been playing really well, the ones who played Thursday really played with passion. Who can tell they really had desire to play. That seems to make the difference. There next league game is July 10th in Los Angele's against the Legends.
Note: the Everton team may be a part of the USL PDL next year.
